Check Please!.....black and white check series....Oil paintings

These are from my new series "Check Please!".  They are each 12x12 on gallery wrap thick canvas. They are done in oil paints with a collage technique that creates the checked motif and cool extra texture.  They can be purchased separately or as a set.   I absolutely LOVE the direction that this series is headed!  More to come after grandbaby is here and spring festival (Double Decker) in Oxford is over.

Fanciful florals...........Oil Paintings

20x24........................Flowers by the Window
8x24..........Updated Floral
12x24...........Soft Floral
12x24..........Vibrant Bouquet
12x12....................Magnolia close-up
10x20.............Traditional Floral
12x12...........................Floral Fancy
I really loved playing around with the different styles of floral paintings this summer.  Some are fairly realistic, and some are quite fanciful.  They all make me smile.

Floral in Striped Vase.....Oil Painting

Flowers in Striped Vase.........12x24
This painting I loved so much I decided to keep it.  but I have another one that is similar coming up soon.  I will be posting my new work (the stuff that's still wet right now) soon.  but for now I am posting things from the spring.

Update....sorry to those that subscribe to my blog and have gotten this as a second post for today.  We are going to be out of town for a couple of days and I was scheduling a few posts to be sent while we are gone and I forgot to put the post-dated date.  Pretend you didn't see this till Friday.  Thanks.

Florals...........Oil paintings

12x24.....Sunshine in a Vase

20x20.......Museum Flowers
I love both of these paintings, though they are very different in style.  The top one is more of my funky, colorful style and the bottom is softer and more muted.  There are fans of both styles out there so no reason to limit myself to one certain type....as long as they both are "me".
