New for 2018....New Orleans Art....Oil Paintings

I am doing two shows in Louisiana this fall....One in Shreveport and one in Covington.  So I thought a little New Orleans art would be in order.

Ok.  I am getting there.  This is so much closer to how I really want to paint than the first painting I did of the cathedral in New Orleans.  I am going to humble myself and post a small photo of the first painting.  I think you will see the difference.

Ok, I guess in all honesty this one isn't as bad as I remembered, but I still like the mood of the more recent one.  The top one is for sale, but the bottom one is long gone to a forever home
