Baby Oils.....Tiny Oil Paintings.....tomatoes, olive, cotton
All of these are tiny little 6x6 oil paintings. They provide a little bit of color and interest and don't take up a lot of space. They are on canvas that is 1 1/2" deep so they can stand up on their own on a shelf or on top of a stack of books.

Red River Revel-ry......Art show 2014
This is a shot of my booth on the opening Saturday of the Revel. Those of you who follow me on Facebook have already seen most of these photos. But my blog is such a history of what goes on with my art that I wanted to be sure it was all recorded here as well. Plus some of these good folks that bought paintings may check in some times and I want to have their photos on here when they do.

It was fitting that my last sale for Revel 2014 was to one of my first customers from my first Revel in 2009. Kathryn is a one person party and is the source of many fond Revel memories. Not to mention a loyal customer.
This last photo was taken about two hours before the end of the show. The booth still looks sort of full. But what you don't see is that my only outside wall on the left is almost empty and the three sets of louvered doors that I had at the front sides of the booth are all completely empty. So all of the work I had left was compressed into the inside of the booth. And when I loaded the car to come home....you could definitely see out the back this time. : )

It's up to you....Abstract Oil Paintings
24x30....oil on canvas.....$850
24x30....oil on canvas....$850
It's up to you what you see in these paintings...In the first one I see piano keys and shadowy faces trying to decide who gets to play first. In the second there is a tiny piano in the bottom right (it's much more evident in the actual painting). But you want to know what I really see most of all? I see a dog speeding by with his head out the car window. But that 's just me. Some have seen a large face, others two Picasso-like faces. Like I said it's up to you...

Tomato Pairing Oil paintings...
12x12....oil......$150 SOLDI tried a different background on these and the look, I think, is totally different. They look more serious. If a tomato can, indeed, look serious.
My thoughts today are with those who are still dealing with the aftermath of 9/11. We are all still dealing with it on some level. Some much, much more than others. Children started school without mothers, wives set tables with one less place, and hearts are still broken over what might have happened differently. God bless America and those who love her.

Wine Bottle Oil Paintings....
24x36.....oil on 1.5 gallery wrap.......Three's Company......$875 SOLDI took this photo at the Cork Wine Festival, also. The light was coming in from the back and you could see it through the bottles.
Well, I have been busy busy busy this week and have gotten several paintings done. They will be posted next week after I have them all photographed.
Thanks to all who have commented and welcomed me back after my long absence.
And now to end the week with a smile. Check out these two party animals. Am I lucky to have a daughter-in-law who realizes how much I love getting these photos or what? The girls will be seven months old on Sunday. I feel like I fell asleep in January and woke up and it's September!
